Academic expectations are high and Mount House Sixth Form achieves excellent results. The vast majority of our leavers go on to study at their first choice university.
We are very proud of our value-added scores that show how we help our students achieve their potential as we have consistently scored in the top three for North London. Value Added scores show how much progress students who studied A-levels at Mount House made between the end of Key Stage 4 and the end of their A-level studies. The scores are calculated by comparing the A-level results of our students with the results of students in schools and colleges across England who started with similar results at the end of Key Stage 4.

2023 EXAMS
Mount House is very proud of all our students’ achievements in this summer’s public exams.
We congratulate this cohort of students who have experienced significant disruption to their secondary education. We commend them on the resilience they have displayed, especially our A Level students for whom, having missed GCSEs, this was their first experience of public exams.
As has been widely publicised, there has been a return to pre-pandemic grading this summer in England and it is most meaningful to compare results to 2019, the last summer exam series before the pandemic. At GCSE, Mount House students have not only outperformed the national average by some margin, but they have also far exceeded our own 2019 results as well as the national averages.
In the Sixth Form, our key focus is on supporting students to move on to the next stage of education, whether that is at university or into apprenticeships. We are immensely proud of the students , and are delighted that this year they will go on to study the a wide range of degree courses.
