Career:
From 2011 to 2021 Nigel led Head of St Faith’s, Cambridge (TES UK Prep School of the Year 2019). Previously, he was Head of Brentwood Prep School and Colfe’s Prep School, London. He started his career as a Mathematics Teacher and Sports Coach and moved into management at Holmwood House Prep School, Colchester, where he was appointed as Director of Studies and Housemaster. His career spans boarding and day schools, junior and senior education and the state and independent sectors.
Nigel is now an education consultant, assisting schools in the UK and abroad in their strategic planning, senior staff appraisals and curriculum development. He is also a Lead Schools’ Inspector and a qualified coach who mentors and coaches over 20 heads in state and independent schools.
Nigel joined the Board in September 2023 as a non-executive Director with responsibility for Safeguarding and Health & Safety.
