Inspection Reports

Celebrating achievement at Mount House School

‘Standards Met’, Mount House School, achieving across all five areas –  November 2023.

The ISI is appointed by the Department for Education to inspect association independent schools in England and an inspection is a rigorous process typically occurring once every three years.

The ISI introduced a new framework in September 2023. The material change in the new framework has been to abolish the ‘single word judgements’ so independent schools now either meet the standards, or not. The inspection report is structured around five key areas, wherein inspectors meticulously detail commendations for ‘Standards Met’ and provide insightful overviews, making recommendations for further improvement.

We are delighted that Mount House received the rating of ‘Standards Met’ across all five areas.  This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our remarkable team.
